ONE MORE SHIFT - Dennis Hextall #9 

University of North Dakota Men's Hockey is honored to have Dennis on the ice for the One More Shift the pregame ceremony on February 8th 2025. Dennis was the 1st ever UND hockey Alum to take the ice in the NHL after playing at UND, what a great tradition you started Dennis! Thank you Dennis!

Dennis Hextall played as a Forward on the North Dakota Hockey team from 1963-66. Hextall is from Poplar Point MB. Hextall played 13 seasons in then NHL recording 681 games, 153 goals, 350 assists, 503 points and 1398 penalty minuets. Hextall's NHL career included time with the NY Rangers, LA Kings, California Golden Seals, MN North Stars, Detroit Red Wings, and Washington Capitals.
